BrightNest posts two cards. Each has its own place for your trade, and each place is held by one firm per postcode district.

The main contractor
When a household’s planning permission is approved, or is about to expire, they need someone to build it. The permission card names one firm for that job in each district.
Extension builders
Rear, side and wraparound extensions, the most common householder permission.
Loft conversion specialists
Dormers, mansards and roof-space conversions, reached as soon as the permission is granted.
The permission card has exactly one holder per district. Other trades are not on it.
Welcome card · six to eight trades · £100 a month each
The trades a new home needs
Someone who has just moved in usually has nobody to call yet. The welcome card lists six to eight local trades, one firm for each.
Electricians
Safety checks, rewires and the jobs a survey turned up.
Plumbing & heating engineers
Boilers, radiators and the first leak.
Roofers
Slipped tiles, gutters and flat-roof repairs.
Plasterers & decorators
Making the rooms their own.
Carpenters & joiners
Doors, shelving and fitted storage.
Kitchens & bathrooms
The rooms most people change first.
Gardens & landscaping

Which trades appear varies by district. A welcome-card place does not include the permission card.

We post the cards
Folded A5 cards on 350gsm stock, addressed to the homeowner, with your firm’s name and number on them.
Follow up if you want to
Follow-up letters to the same households, at £2 each.
